READNOISE reference file¶

The READNOISE reference file contains a pixel-by-pixel map of readnoise, which is used in estimating the expected noise in each pixel.
Reference Selection Keywords for READNOISE¶
CRDS selects appropriate READNOISE references based on the following keywords. READNOISE is not applicable for instruments not in the table. All keywords used for file selection are required.

Standard ASDF metadata¶
The following table lists the attributes that are required to be present in all reference files. The first column shows the attribute in the ASDF reference file headers, which is the same as the name within the data model meta tree (second column). The second column gives the roman data model name for each attribute, which is useful when using data models in creating and populating a new reference file.
